There was no surprise when 13th rankedBelfius Mons-Hainaut (9-15) was outleveled on the road by eighth ranked Limburg United (14-10) 96-64 on Sunday. Limburg dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Belfius Mons-Hainaut ' 34. Limburg outrebounded Union Mons 38-23 including a 29-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by power forward Aubin Gateretse (211-2001, college: Utah St.) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and American forward Noah Baumann (198-1999, college: GCU) supported him with 11 points and 7 rebounds. Limburg United's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 13 points and 4 assists by American guard Malik Whitaker (198-2000, college: Fort Lewis, agency: Starting 5) did not help to save the game for Union Mons . His fellow American import forward Garrett Hien (206, college: Furman) added 13 points and 5 rebounds. Five Limburg and four Union Mons players scored in double figures. Limburg moved-up to seventh place, which they share with ZZ Leiden. Loser Belfius Mons-Hainaut keep the thirteenth position with 15 games lost.
